The assignment was to come up with a plan to pitch a feature story from BYU's University Communications office to a specific reporter at a national/regional/trade news media outlet and then craft an email pitch that could be sent to pitch the story to a specific journalist. I pitched a story about the consequences of poverty on a child's cognitive development.
